Yoshi's 3rd Birthday, July 23, 2010

Penny is a Red Tri Australian Shepherd, she will be 7 years old in August, 2010.

I celebrated my 3rd Birthday for 2 days! It started on July 23rd when I got my buddy Penny to come over for a sleepover. Penny dominates me, but I still like to play with her a lot. She likes to mouth me, got me all wet several times from the neck up. Ewwwww. Penny also dominates me by humping my head. LOL. My family sang Happy Birthday to me. Told me I would get my presents the following day after Penny went home so that Penny wouldn't get jealous. I had a lot of fun playing with my buddy.

The day after when Penny went home, my family gave me my Birthday card and gifts. I especially enjoyed the "bully" stick. My favorite. I do not get this very often so it was a big surprise and I ate the whole thing! I like my new toys too, will play with them later.

Earlier in the day my family took Penny and I to the hills of San Mateo. To a place called Pulgas Ridge Trail. It was fun and we had a wonderful walk but we did not get to run around. There wasn't really an open area we could run in safely. There was a lot of foxtails and poison oak or ivy. I can't tell the difference. But Mommy did not want us anywhere near it. So we stayed on the trail. We probably won't come back here since there was no place to really run and we LOVE to run!

Point Isabel

Yoshi and Sinjin, her new shiba buddy!

Yoshi and Stephanie. A little windy. :)

This handsome boy is Topo (spelling). He is a rescued shiba. Yay!

Sinjin guarding his ball while resting. Doesn't he look handsome!

I must have been a really good girl today because I was out and about practically all day! First I went grocery shopping with my Mommy, sister and PoPo (maternal grandmother). Then we went to PoPo's for brunch. Then we got home and hung around there for about an hour and then we went for a drive across the Bay Bridge to Point Isabel to meet Sinjin and his parents! We have never been to Point Isabel, but this is one of Sinjin's favorite spots! We had a great time. I love this place and I want to come here again! There were a ton of dogs and humans everywhere. But the place is huge so there was a lot of room for everyone to enjoy it. Mommy took a couple of videos. First video I played with Sinjin for a long time and Mommy added some music to it. Second video is short but I played with a Aussie Pup, and Sinjin played with us. Hope everyone will enjoy the video as much as I do!

Sunday, In The Yard, Another Foggy Day In S.F.

Yoshi ready to leap for frisbee. Overcast day. :(

Yoshi catches frisbee on another toss.

Overcast Sunday. :( But I had a lot of fun. Mommy played fetch with me inside the house before 8AM. Then at 10AM we went to the yard and I played fetch with my rubber stick and then Mommy got the soft frisbee out. I haven't played with that frisbee in months. I was very excited to see it and had a wonderful time catching it in the air. Hope I get to play with that frisbee again really soon! :)

4th of July @Fort Funston

On the 4th of July we went to Fort Funston again. It was around 10AM. It was warm and sunny by our house. But when we got to Fort Funston, we could see the fog rolling in. It was pretty foggy. I did not mind. Mommy did not bring the ball for me to play with. She said she wanted me to run around, explore and play with other dogs. I did play with a few dogs. There were really big dogs and I played with them. One of the big dogs was chasing me and I was very fast and that dog could not keep up. He wanted to play some more, but his owner wanted to leave. I played with a Golden Retriever and Mommy got it on her new video camera, but she is having problems loading the video on to Blogger. So here is the link to watch it on You Tube.
