Another Sunday @ Fort Funston

I woke up at my friend Penny's house this morning. I was only over for a visit for a few hours while my family were away. But the little boy that belongs to Penny wanted me to stay over for a sleepover. Penny's human called my Mommy and asked if it would be o.k. My Mommy said yes. I had a great time at Penny's house with her humans. They love me very much. Penny's Mommy returned me home this morning. When Daddy got home, we all went to Fort Funston again because it was a sunny and warmer day. When we got there, it was a little foggy, but not very cold. Still was pretty warm where the fog was thin. I had a lot of fun playing fetch when Mommy throw the ball with the Chuck-It. I just wanted to play and play and play. I was so tired. I still did not play with other dogs much. I am working on being more playful with dogs that are not in my pack. Oh well. I still love the ball and fetch.

Fort Funston on a Foggy & Drizzle Day

My Mommy did not have to work yesterday or today. After she got home this morning from errands and appointments, she took me and my human sister to Fort Funston again. It was very foggy and wet from heavy drizzle. I did not mind of course. There were a lot of other dogs there. I tried to play with a few, but they did not play with me. Then some others ganged up on me and I did not like that too much. But there was no fighting. One little dog was too friendly and jumped up on my human sister and knocked her down. Sister wanted to cry because she got her hands dirty with wet sand. Mommy picked her up and told her it is o.k. The little doggie just wanted to play and give you kisses. I noticed that some of the little doggies do not seem to like little kids much. I don't know why. I love my human sister. She is always nice to me. Mommy tried out the new Chuck-It Launcher. I loved it. It was a lot of fun. I played fetch so much and all the running really wore me out. I was breathing so hard that I couldn't even drink any water that Mommy offered me. We walked down to the other end of the park and by then, I had caught my breath and was ready for some fresh water. Then we started to walk back to the parking lot because it was very cold, windy and wet. I hope we get to come back here again on a sunny day. There are a couple of videos of me playing fetch.

Father' Day @Fort Funston

Yoshi @Fort Funston

Yoshi being good and waiting for us

Yoshi wondering why she is still leashed

My family took me toFort Funston today. I've been here many times with Mike, my dog walker. First time my family has been here. I think they really enjoyed it since it was not foggy and the sun was out and it was warm with a bit of wind. I saw a lot of dogs here and I played with a few and I especially played with a fellow Aussie. I always love playing with Aussies. I'm a bit of a snob. LOL Above are a few photos and Mommy is going to try to load a video as well. Enjoy! I hope my family will bring me here again really soon.

June 13, 2010 - Sunday Morning Walkies

Hello Mommy

Yoshi's Big Smile

Yoshi says Mommy walks way too slow
Today my Mommy played fetch with me early in the morning around 8AM! It was already starting to get warm. I can tell it is going to be another perfect day for me. Then Daddy got home from feeding his face and asked Mommy if he can take my human sister Stephanie to the outdoor playground. Luckily Mommy said yes! Woohoo! I get my Mommy to myself again. Daddy and Stephanie left for the park. Mommy changed and got me ready for our walk. Yay! We took our usual route and it was a lot of fun. I got to smell everything all over again. We actually went walking after dinner last night as well, but my human sister had to come with us. Daddy stayed home for whatever reason. Today was pretty warm and I drank some water at our usual stopping place. Mommy always remembers to bring water for me no matter if it is warm or cold outside. Did not see any dogs this time to play with. Everyone either already walked their dogs earlier this morning or will be later on. Thats o.k. I still had a good time. I saw many birds that I really wanted to chase as well. A few photos are below. Enjoy and I look forward to more adventures.

20th Annual Shiba Party - June 5, 2010

Bento from B Team

Bella and Friends

Bella and Bella's Mommy

My family and I went to our first Shiba Inu Party on Saturday, June 5, 2010. I never saw so many Shiba Inu's in one place in my whole life! I had a lot of fun. I played and sniffed some of the Shiba's but I was a little shy. But I was a good girl and behaved myself. I saw one Border Collie and one Aussie that I really wanted to play with. But the man with them didn't seem to want to let them play so I was a little disappointed because they passed by our "tent" 3-4 times. I met some of the SFShiba family. I sniffed Ando and I got close to Ayumi, Kika and Yuki. Haru did not like me getting too close so my Mom handed my leash to Dad so that she can get closer to take pictures of Haru. We also say Sinjin, Bento, Bonsai and Kenji FKA Bayako. And we finally got to meet Bella and Bella's Mommy. I think there was a Shiba Inu named Yoshi because I heard my named called a few times and they were not calling me. Hee-Hee. It was a lot of fun and I hope we get to go again next year. Here are a few pictures of the picnic.
